GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The HMC329A chip is a general-purpose, double balancedmixer that can be used as an upconverter or downconverterfrom 22 GHz to 38 GHz in a small chip area of 0.87 mm ×0.58 mm. This mixer requires no external component or matching circuitry. The HMC329A provides excellent localoscillation (LO) to radio frequency (RF) and LO to intermediatefrequency (IF) suppression due to optimized balun structures.The mixer operates with LO drive levels at 13 dBm or above.
