Overview: 

The AX1621B is a peripheral device used to expand the I/O ports of the MCU. The AX1621B has a 32 x 4 display matrix and is a 128-dot memory mapped multifunctional LCD driver circuitry.The software features of the AX1621B make it suitable for LCD display applications including LCD modules and display subsystems. Only 3 or 4 ports are required to interface between the host controller and the AX1621B. The power down command reduces power loss.
