Overview.
The AX1623 is a peripheral chip designed to be used with I/O microcontrollers to expand display functions. The maximum display mode is 384 dots (48 x 8). The AX1623 is a memory-mapped multifunction LCD controller. The software configurability of the chip makes it suitable for a wide range of LCD applications, including LCD modules and display subsystems. The AX1623 requires only 3 wires to connect to the host controller. The AX162x series consists of a wide range of products to meet the needs of different applications
