Overview: 

The AX1625 is a peripheral chip designed to be used with I/O microcontrollers to expand display capabilities. The maximum display mode is 512 dots (64 x 8). The AX1625 supports serial interface, buzzer sound, watchdog timer/time base timer functions.

The AX1625 is a memory-mapped multifunction LCD controller. The software configurability of the chip makes it suitable for a wide range of LCD applications, including LCD modules and display subsystems.The AX1625 requires only 3 wires to connect to the host controller.The AX162x series consists of a wide range of products to meet the needs of different applications.
