Overview:

The AX16C22 is a standard I²C interface communication LCD controller/driver chip. It provides 1/4 duty cycle display mode and can drive up to 176 dots (44×4, LQFP52 package) or 160 dots (40*4, LQFP48 package.) The AX16C22 has a built-in clock generator, LCD bias voltage generator module and LCD driver voltage follower, as well as a standard I²C interface.

The main features are as follows:
