The GD30AD3382 is an 8-channel, 16-bit, chargeredistribution successive approximation register (SAR)analog-to-digital converter (ADC) powered by a singlepower supply, VDD. The GD30AD3382 contains all thecomponents for a multi-channel, low-power dataacquisition system, including a true 16-bit SAR ADC withno missing codes; an 8-channel low-crosstalkmultiplexer for configuring inputs as single-ended(referenced or not referenced to GND), differential, orbipolar inputs; an internal 4.096 V low-drift referencesource as well as output buffers and temperaturesensors; an optional single-pole filter; and a sequencerfor continuous scanning in channel order.

Description:

The GD30AD3382 is an 8-channel, 16-bit, chargeredistribution successive approximation register (SAR)analog-to-digital converter (ADC) powered by a singlepower supply, VDD. The GD30AD3382 contains all thecomponents for a multi-channel, low-power dataacquisition system, including a true 16-bit SAR ADC withno missing codes; an 8-channel low-crosstalkmultiplexer for configuring inputs as single-ended(referenced or not referenced to GND), differential, orbipolar inputs; an internal 4.096 V low-drift referencesource as well as output buffers and temperaturesensors; an optional single-pole filter; and a sequencerfor continuous scanning in channel order.GD30AD3382 uses a simple serial port interface (SPI)to write configuration registers and receive conversionresults. The SPI interface uses a separate power supplyVIO, the same as the host port power supply. Powerconsumption varies with throughput.The GD30AD3382 is packaged in a 20-pin QFN andoperates over the −40 °C to +125 °C temperature range.
