The GD32A513 series automotive-grade microcontrollers utilize an automotive-grade process platform, adhering to automotive-grade design principles and production standards, meeting the stringent requirements for high reliability and stability in automotive applications. The GD32A513 series MCUs are based on a 100MHz Cortex®-M33 core, equipped with 384KB Flash and 48KB SRAM, and feature a dedicated code space configurable as 64KB DFlash/4KB EEPROM. The chips operate with a wide supply voltage range of 2.7-5.5V, a temperature range of -40 to +125°C, and a working lifetime exceeding 15 years.

To enable diverse body control and connectivity applications, the GD32A513 integrates various communication interfaces to enhance connectivity, supporting up to 3 USARTs, 2 I2Cs, 2 SPIs, 1 I2S, and is also equipped with 2 CAN FD and 3 LIN interfaces. According to development application needs, the newly added MFCOM component can be flexibly configured as USART, SPI, I2C, LIN, and other interfaces, further enhancing the flexibility of solution design.

The chip features 1 general 16-bit timer, 2 basic timers, and 4 PWM advanced timers. The internal 12-bit ADC achieves a sampling rate of 1M SPS. It also integrates high-precision analog peripherals such as fast comparators and DACs to support automotive motor control.

The GD32A513's Flash/RAM supports ECC (Error-Correcting Code) verification, data communication supports CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) verification, and it is equipped with functions like Brown-Out Reset/Power-Down Reset (BOR/PDR) and clock monitoring, providing hardware guarantees for stable and secure system operation. With excellent electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electrical fast transient (EFT) immunity capabilities, it meets the low failure rate and high reliability requirements essential for automotive electronics.

Leveraging these numerous excellent features, the GD32A513 series MCUs can be widely used in various automotive scenarios. These include body control systems such as windows, wipers, air conditioning, smart door locks, electric seats, electric trunks, ambient lighting, and dynamic taillights, as well as automotive lighting systems and motor power systems. They are also suitable for smart cockpit systems like instrument clusters, in-car audio/video, entertainment audio, central console navigation, and in-vehicle wireless charging. Benefiting from its excellent safety monitoring mechanisms, the GD32A513 is also applicable to certain ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) such as surround-view cameras and AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alerting Systems).
