Overview: 

The ST05A touch sensor can detect changes in capacitance at the point of sensing using the average capacitance value as a reference. The ST05A can sense changes in capacitance through any non-conductive medium, so that the sensing module can be isolated from water and dust. This allows the sensor module to be isolated from water and dust. The ST05A has a high level of immunity to interference and good consistency. The chip can be operated in a low power environment with an operating current of 220ua at 5v and a standby current of less than 10ua, and is also suitable for battery applications.
