ST L6206

The L6206 from STMicroelectronics is a DMOS dual full bridge driver designed for motor control applications, developed using BCDmultipower technology that integrates isolated DMOS power transistors with CMOS and bipolar circuits on the same chip. Available in a VFQFPN48 7x7 package, the L6206 features an operating supply voltage from 8V to 52V, a typical RDS(on) of 0.3 Ω at Tj = 25°C with 5.6A output peak current, and an operating frequency up to 100 kHz. Key features include programmable high-side overcurrent detection and protection, a diagnostic output for easy implementation of overcurrent protection, paralleled operation capability, cross conduction protection, thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, and integrated fast freewheeling diodes. The L6206 is ideal for bipolar stepper motors and dual or quad DC motor applications.
