The SMP1330-005LF from Skyworks Solutions is a high-performance limiter diode designed for use as a passive receiver protector in wireless and other RF systems operating at frequencies up to 4 GHz and higher. Utilizing Skyworks' advanced limiter diode technology with gold-doped, thin-base construction, this device delivers low insertion loss, low-distortion performance, and effective limiter action.This specific configuration features dual series-connected PIN diodes in a compact 3-pin SOT-23 package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs-2-5. The device is characterized by a reverse voltage rating of 20V, forward current of 100mA, and a maximum power dissipation of 250mW. The SMP1330-005LF operates over an extended temperature range of -65°C to +150°C and is rated MSL1 @ 260°C per JEDEC J-STD-020, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. The device is Pb-Free, RoHS compliant, and halogen-free (Skyworks Green™).
