The Microchip PIC18F46K22-I/PT is a high-performance 8-bit microcontroller featuring a RISC CPU optimized for C compilers, supporting up to 16 MIPS operation with a 16-bit instruction width and 8-bit data path. It provides up to 64 KB linear program memory, 3896 bytes of linear data memory, and 1024 bytes of data EEPROM. The device includes a precision internal 16 MHz oscillator (calibrated to ±1%) with PLL for up to 64 MHz operation, eliminating external components. Analog features include a 10-bit ADC with up to 30 external channels, two rail-to-rail analog comparators, a 5-bit DAC, and a Charge Time Measurement Unit (CTMU) for capacitive touch sensing. The eXtreme Low-Power (XLP) technology enables Sleep mode current down to 20 nA, making it ideal for battery-powered and power-sensitive applications.
