BL BL0942 STOCK

The BL0942 is a highly integrated, cost-effective electric energy metering chip that requires no external crystal or calibration, thanks to its built-in clock and factory-trimmed gain error of less than 1%. It features two independent high-precision Sigma-Delta ADCs for simultaneous current and voltage sampling, and an on-chip digital signal processor (DSP) that calculates key power parameters including RMS current, RMS voltage, active power, and active energy. The device also supports fast current RMS output for overcurrent protection, zero-crossing detection, and waveform data output for load analysis. Communication is flexible via SPI or UART interfaces, with multi-chip cascading support in the TSSOP14L package. With a patented anti-creep mechanism, low power consumption (10mW typical), and a wide measurement range (10mA–30A current, 1W–6600W power at 220V), the BL0942 is ideal for smart sockets, smart appliances, single-phase multi-function meters, and IoT power data collection sys

Functional Overview:

The BL0942 is a built-in clock, calibration-free electric energy metering chip, suitable for single-phase multi-function electricity meters, smart sockets, smart home appliances, and other applications, offering high cost-effectiveness. The BL0942 integrates 2 high-precision Sigma-Delta ADCs, a reference voltage, power management analog circuit modules, as well as digital signal processing circuits for handling electrical parameters such as active power, current, and voltage RMS. The BL0942 can measure parameters including current, voltage RMS, active power, active energy, etc., and can output fast current RMS (for overcurrent protection), as well as waveform output functions. Data is output via UART/SPI interfaces, fully meeting the needs of smart sockets, smart home appliances, single-phase multi-function electricity meters, and big data collection of electricity consumption information. The BL0942 features a patented anti-creep design; with appropriate external hardware design, it ensures that noise power is not counted into the energy pulse when there is no current.
