TI TPA3111D1QPWPRQ1 STOCK

The TPA3111D1-Q1 device is a 10W high-efficiency Class-D audio power amplifier for driving a bridged-tied speaker. Advanced EMI suppression technology enables the use of inexpensive ferrite bead filters at the output while meeting EMC requirements. The SpeakerGuard™ protection circuitry includes an adjustable power limiter and a DC detection circuit. The adjustable power limiter allows the user to set a virtual voltage rail below the chip supply voltage to limit the power delivered through the speaker. The DC detection circuit measures the frequency and amplitude of the PWM signal and shuts down the output stage if the input capacitors are damaged or a short circuit exists at the inputs. The TPA3111D1-Q1 can drive a mono speaker as low as 4Ω. With greater than 90% efficiency during music playback, the TPA3111D1-Q1 eliminates the need for an external heat sink. The output is fully protected against short circuits to GND, VCC, and output-to-output.
