The STM32F4xx series is a high‑performance 32‑bit microcontroller family based on the ARM® Cortex®‑M4 core with Floating‑Point Unit (FPU) and DSP instructions, operating at frequencies up to 180 MHz. Featuring ST’s Adaptive Real‑Time Accelerator (ART Accelerator™), the device delivers zero‑wait‑state execution from Flash memory, achieving up to 225 DMIPS / 1.25 DMIPS/MHz. The memory subsystem includes up to 2 MB of dual‑bank Flash memory supporting read‑while‑write, and up to 256+4 KB of SRAM including 64‑KB Core Coupled Memory (CCM). An external memory controller supports SRAM, PSRAM, SDRAM/LPSDR, CompactFlash, NOR/NAND with up to 32‑bit data bus.
