TI TPS7B8150QDGNRQ1 STOCK

The TPS7B81-Q1 is an automotive-qualified low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator designed to deliver ultra-low quiescent current (IQ) for battery-connected applications where power saving and extended battery life are critical. With a typical IQ of only 2.7µA at light loads and 300nA in shutdown mode, this device is ideally suited for always-on systems that must sustain operation when the vehicle ignition is off, such as standby power for microcontrollers and CAN/LIN transceivers. The regulator supports a wide input voltage range from 3V to 40V, with 45V transient capability, and delivers up to 150mA of output current with excellent accuracy of 1.5% across line, load, and temperature. Available in fixed output voltage options of 5V, 3.3V, and 2.5V, the TPS7B81-Q1 maintains stability with low-ESR ceramic output capacitors (1µF to 200µF).

Description:

In automotive battery connection applications, low quiescent current (IQ) is critical for power saving and extending battery life. Always-on systems must feature ultra-low IQ over an extended temperature range to enable sustained operation when the vehicle ignition is off. The TPS7B81-Q1 is a low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator designed for VIN applications up to 40V. With a typical quiescent current of only 2.7µA at light loads, this device is an excellent choice for powering microcontrollers and CAN/LIN transceivers in standby systems. These devices feature integrated short-circuit and overcurrent protection. The device operates over an ambient temperature range of –40°C to +125°C and a junction temperature range of –40°C to +150°C. Additionally, the device is offered in several thermally conductive packages with different sizes. The compact WSON package offers a wettable-flank option. The TO-252 package also helps sustain operation even when the device dissipates significant heat. These features make the device an ideal power supply for a wide range of battery-connected automotive applications.
