TI INA240A1QDRQ1 Datesheet

The INA240-Q1 device is an automotive-qualified, voltage-output, current-sense amplifier with enhanced PWM rejection that can sense the voltage drop across a shunt resistor over a wide common-mode voltage range of –4V to 80V, independent of the supply voltage. The negative common-mode voltage allows the device to operate below ground, accommodating the flyback period of typical solenoid applications. The enhanced PWM rejection feature provides a high level of suppression of large common-mode transients (ΔV/Δt) in systems that use pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals, such as motor drive and solenoid control systems, enabling accurate current measurement without large transients and associated recovery ripple on the output voltage. The device operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and consumes a maximum supply current of 2.4mA. Four fixed gains are available: 20V/V, 50V/V, 100V/V and 200V/V. The low offset of the zero-drift architecture enables current sensing with maximum drops acr

Description:

The INA240-Q1 device is an automotive-qualified, voltage-output, current-sense amplifier with enhanced PWM rejection that can sense the voltage drop across a shunt resistor over a wide common-mode voltage range of –4V to 80V, independent of the supply voltage. The negative common-mode voltage allows the device to operate below ground, accommodating the flyback period of typical solenoid applications. The enhanced PWM rejection feature provides a high level of suppression of large common-mode transients (ΔV/Δt) in systems that use pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals, such as motor drive and solenoid control systems. With this feature, current can be measured accurately without large transients and associated recovery ripple on the output voltage. The device operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and consumes a maximum supply current of 2.4mA. Four fixed gains are available: 20V/V, 50V/V, 100V/V and 200V/V. The low offset of the zero-drift architecture enables current sensing with maximum drops across the shunt as low as 10mV (full scale). The grade 1 version has a specified extended operating temperature range (–40°C to +125°C) and is available in 8-pin TSSOP and 8-pin SOIC packages. The grade 0 version has a specified extended operating temperature range (–40°C to +150°C) and is available in an 8-pin SOIC package.
