The STP55NF06 from STMicroelectronics is an N-channel power MOSFET developed using ST’s unique “Single Feature Size™” strip-based process. This technology enables extremely high packing density, resulting in low on-resistance, rugged avalanche characteristics, and fewer critical alignment steps for improved manufacturing reproducibility. The device features a typical RDS(on) of 0.015 Ω, exceptional dv/dt capability, and is 100% avalanche tested for guaranteed reliability in demanding applications. The STP55NF06 is available in surface-mount D2PAK (TO-263) packaging (tube or tape & reel with “T4” suffix) and through-hole I²PAK (TO-262) packaging (“-1” suffix). It is designed for high-current, high-switching-speed applications including motor control, audio amplifiers, DC-DC and DC-AC converters, and automotive systems.
