Description:
The LD3985 provides up to 150 mA, from 2.5 V to6 V input voltage. The ultra low drop voltage, lowquiescent current and low noise make it suitablefor low power applications and in battery-poweredsystems. Regulator ground current increasesslightly in dropout only, prolonging the battery life.Power supply rejection is better than 60 dB at lowfrequencies and rolls off at 10 kHz. High powersupply rejection is maintained down to low inputvoltage levels common to battery operatedcircuits. Shutdown logic control function isavailable, this means that when the device isused as local regulator, it is possible to put a partof the board in standby, decreasing the totalpower consumption. The LD3985 is designed towork with low ESR ceramic capacitors. Typicalapplications are in mobile phones and similarbattery-powered wireless systems.
