ST M24M01

The M24M01 from STMicroelectronics is a 1 Mbit I²C-compatible serial EEPROM organized as 128K × 8 bits (131072 bytes). It supports I²C bus modes of 100 kHz, 400 kHz, and 1 MHz, with 1 MHz operation available from 1.7 V to 5.5 V. The device is available in multiple supply voltage options: the M24M01-R operates from 1.8 V to 5.5 V, and the M24M01-DF operates from 1.7 V to 5.5 V over the full temperature range (-40°C to +85°C). The M24M01-D variants offer an additional 256-byte Identification Page which can be permanently locked in Read-only mode to store sensitive application parameters. The M24M01 features byte write and page write (256-byte page) within 5 ms, random and sequential read modes, and write protection of the entire memory array. It offers enhanced ESD/Latch-up protection, more than 4 million write cycles, more than 200 years of data retention, and is available in SO8 ECOPACK2®, TSSOP8 ECOPACK2®, WLCSP ECOPACK2®, and unsawn wafer (each die tested).

Description:

The M24M01 is a 1 Mbit I2C-compatible EEPROM (Electrically Erasable PROgrammableMemory) organized as 128 K × 8 bits.The M24M01-R can operate with a supply voltage from 1.8 V to 5.5 V, and the M24M01-DFcan operate with a supply voltage from 1.7 V to 5.5 V, over an ambient temperature range of–40 °C / +85 °C. The M24M01-D offers an additional page, named the Identification Page (256 bytes). TheIdentification Page can be used to store sensitive application parameters which can be(later) permanently locked in Read-only mode.
