The TPA132Q is a current-sense amplifier with a very wideinput common-mode voltage range from −4 V to 80 Vwith a small-signal bandwidth of 1 MHz. The enhancedPWM rejection allows the TPA132Q to accommodate thesolenoids and motors applications. The device featureshigh precision accuracy specifications of Vos and the gainerror, which makes it ideal for the small signal conditioninginterfacing with a high accuracy ADC.Fixed gains are optional: 20 V/V, 50 V/V, 100 V/V, 200 V/V,and 500 V/V. The device offers breakthrough performancethroughout the temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.The device is offered SOP8 and TSSOP8 packages.Many systems, including motors and solenoids, employPWM signals for modulation or control purposes. However,these PWM signals generate fast common-mode voltagetransitions that oscillate between high voltage and groundpotential. This can pose a challenge for the currentmeasurement circuitry, as it may result in undesirableoutput voltage fluctuations. To address this issue, thedevice incorporates an advanced PWM rejection feature.This feature minimizes the impact of common-modevoltage transitions and ensures stable and reliable outputvoltage.
