Product Description:
The FT8395M is a primary feedback control chip for high performance constant voltage and constant current chargers and devices. The primary feedback topology simplifies circuit design by omitting the optocoupler and TL431, which reduces the bill of materials cost. The chip operates in quasi-resonant (QR) and adaptive PFM modes, enabling the system to meet Class 6 energy efficiency standards, and EMI handling is made easier by the chip's internal frequency dithering technology.
FT8395M provides very many protection functions, such as cycle-by-cycle peak current limiting and constant current control to ensure over-current protection, over-temperature protection and over-voltage protection under heavy load; FB pin input under-voltage lockout, which enables the system to be shut down quickly in the event of an abnormality, and restarted in a timely manner when the abnormality is lifted.
