Product Introduction:
FT8396xx is a primary feedback control chip for high-performance constant voltage and constant current chargers and adapters. The topology of primary feedback simplifies the circuit design, omitting the optocoupler and TL431, reducing material costs; at the same time, self-powered technology is adopted and FB pull-down resistors and CS resistors are integrated inside the chip to achieve extremely simplification of peripheral components. The chip works in quasi-resonant (QR) and adaptive PFM modes, making the system meet the 6-level energy efficiency standards, and the internal frequency jitter technology of the chip makes EMI processing easier.
FT8396xx provides a lot of protection functions, such as cycle-by-cycle peak current limiting and constant current control to ensure overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, and overvoltage protection under heavy load; the FB pin input undervoltage locking allows the system to be shut down quickly when an abnormality occurs, and can be restarted in time when an abnormality is relieved.
