The GD30DC1502 is a high efficiency synchronousstep-down switch-mode converter. Which integrated lowon resistance high-side and low-side power MOSFETs.The device operates from an input voltage from 4.5V upto 36V. The GD30DC1502 can deliver 3A of outputcurrent efficiently with constant on time (COT) control forfast loop response.The GD30DC1502 achieves high power conversionefficiency over a wide load range by scaling down theswitching frequency under light-load conditions toreduce switching and gate driving losses.The GD30DC1502 has built-in protection features, suchas cycle-by-cycle current limit, hiccup mode short-circuitprotection, FB open short protection and thermalshutdown in case of excessive power dissipation. TheGD30DC1502 is available in a space-saving ESOP8package.
