The TPS62065-Q1, TPS62067-Q1, and TPS62067A-Q1 devices are high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC-DC converters capable of delivering up to 2A of output current. With an input voltage range of 2.9V to 6V, these devices are ideal for power conversion from 5V or 3.3V system supply rails. The TPS62065-Q1 and TPS62067-Q1 operate at a fixed 3MHz switching frequency and enter power-save mode at light load currents to maintain high efficiency across the entire load current range, with the power-save mode optimized for low output voltage ripple. For low-noise applications, the TPS62065-Q1 can be forced into fixed-frequency PWM mode by pulling the MODE pin high. The TPS62067-Q1 features an open-drain power-good output with power-save mode, while the TPS62067A-Q1 operates in fixed-frequency PWM mode. In shutdown mode, current consumption is reduced to 5µA and the internal circuit discharges the output capacitor. The TPS62065-Q1, TPS62067-Q1, and TPS62067A-Q1 are optimized for use with tiny 1µH inductors and small 10µF output capacitors, enabling ultra-small design size and high regulation performance. The new TPS628502-Q1 offers lower BOM cost, smaller size, higher efficiency, and additional features.
