Description
The UCC27524 device is a dual-channel, high-speed, low-side gate driver capable of effectively driving MOSFET and IGBT switches. For enhanced robustness, the UCC27524 features the ability to directly handle –5V at the input pins. The UCC27524 is a dual-channel in-phase driver. With a design that internally greatly reduces shoot-through current, the UCC27524 can deliver high-peak current pulses of up to 5A source and 5A sink into capacitive loads, featuring rail-to-rail drive capability and an ultra-low propagation delay of 17ns typical. In addition, the driver features matched internal propagation delays between the two channels, making it well-suited for applications with strict timing requirements for dual-gate driving such as synchronous rectifiers. This also allows the two channels to be paralleled to effectively increase current drive capability or to drive two parallel switches using a single input signal. The input pin thresholds are based on TTL and CMOS-compatible low-voltage logic that is fixed and independent of the VDD supply voltage. Wide hysteresis between the high and low thresholds provides excellent noise immunity.
Features:
• Industry-standard pinout
• Two independent gate drive channels
• 5A peak source and sink current
• Independent enable function for each output
