Description：

The STCS05A is a BiCMOS constant currentsource designed to provide a precise constantcurrent starting from a varying input voltagesource. The main target is to replace discretecomponents solution for driving LEDs in lowvoltage applications such as 5 V, 12 V or 24 Vgiving benefits in terms of precision, integrationand reliability.The current is set with external resistor up to 0.5A with a ± 10 % precision; a dedicated pin allowsimplementing PWM dimming. An externalcapacitor allows setting the slope for the currentrise from tens of microseconds to tens ofmilliseconds allowing reduction of EMI.An open-drain pin output provides information onload disconnection condition.
