The A3G4250D is a low-power 3-axis angular ratesensor able to provide unprecedented stability atzero rate level and sensitivity over temperatureand time. It includes a sensing element and an ICinterface capable of providing the measuredangular rate to the external world through astandard SPI digital interface. An I2C-compatibleinterface is also available.The sensing element is manufactured using adedicated micro-machining process developed bySTMicroelectronics to produce inertial sensorsand actuators on silicon wafers.The IC interface is manufactured using a CMOSprocess that allows a high level of integration todesign a dedicated circuit which is trimmed tobetter match the sensing element characteristics.The A3G4250D has a full scale of ±245 dps andis capable of measuring rates with a userselectable bandwidth.The A3G4250D is available in a plastic land gridarray (LGA) package and can operate within atemperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
