The STM32F205RBT6 from STMicroelectronics is a high-performance 32-bit microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex‑M3 core with an Adaptive Real‑Time Accelerator (ART Accelerator™), enabling zero-wait state execution from Flash memory at up to 120 MHz. It offers 128 KB of Flash, 128 KB of SRAM, and a rich set of memories and peripherals including three 12‑bit ADCs, two 12‑bit DACs, up to 17 timers, and a flexible static memory controller. Advanced connectivity features include USB 2.0 (full-speed OTG with on‑chip PHY), 10/100 Ethernet MAC with dedicated DMA and IEEE 1588v2 support, up to 4 USARTs + 2 UARTs, up to 3 SPIs (with I2S muxing), 2 CAN interfaces, and an SDIO interface. The device operates from 1.8 to 3.6 V, supports multiple low‑power modes (Sleep, Stop, Standby), and provides up to 140 I/O ports with interrupt capability, making it suitable for industrial control, motor drives, IoT gateways, and communication hubs.
