The TPS62410 device is a synchronous dual stepdown DC-DC converter. lt provides two independentoutput voltage rails powered by 1-cell Li-lon or 3-celNiMH/NiCD batteries,The device is also suitable tooperate from a standard 3.3 V or 5 V voltage rail.With an input voltage range of 2.5 V to 6 V, theTPS62410 is ideal for batterypowered portableapplications like smart phones,PDAs, and otherportable equipment.With the EasyScaler serial interface, the outputvoltages can be modified during operation. lttherefore supports dynamic voltage scaling for low-power DSP and processors.The TPS62410 operates at 2.25-MHz fixed switchingfrequency and enter the power-save mode operationat light load currents to maintain high efficiency overthe entire load current range. For low-noiseapplications the devices can be forced into fixedfrequency PWM mode by pulling the MODE/DATApin High.In the shutdown mode,the currentconsumption is reduced to 1.2 uA. The device allowsthe use of small inductors and capacitors to achieve asmall solution size.The TPS62410 operates over a free-air temperaturerange of -40'C to 85'C.lt is available in a 10-pinleadless package (3 x 3 mm VSON).
