The SN74HC244QPWRQ1 is a high-performance octal buffer and line driver designed to enhance the performance and density of three-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. Configured as two independent 4-bit buffers/drivers with separate output enable (OE) inputs, this device passes non-inverted data from A inputs to Y outputs when OE is low; when OE is high, the outputs enter a high-impedance state for bus-oriented applications. Operating across a wide voltage range of 2V to 6V, the SN74HC244QPWRQ1 delivers high-current outputs capable of driving up to 15 LSTTL loads, with ±6 mA output drive at 5V. It features low power consumption with a maximum ICC of 80 µA and typical propagation delay (tpd) of 11 ns. This octal buffer and line driver is specifically designed to improve the performance and density of three-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. The SN74HC244 is configured as two 4-bit buffers/drivers with independent output enable (OE) inputs. When OE is low, the device passes non-inverted data from the A inputs to the Y outputs.
