TI TPS74501PQWDRVRQ1 Datesheet

The TPS745-Q1 is an AEC-Q100 qualified 500-mA ultra-low-dropout (LDO) regulator with a power-good (PG) indicator, designed for automotive applications. It is available in a small 6-pin 2-mm × 2-mm wettable-flank WSON package and a small 8-pin 3-mm × 3-mm VSON package that enable optical inspection. The device supports an input voltage range of 1.5 V to 6.0 V and offers both fixed output voltages from 0.65 V to 5.0 V and an externally adjustable output voltage range of 0.55 V to 5.5 V, making it a flexible post-regulation solution. It features low quiescent current (25 µA typical, 1.5 µA in shutdown), fast line and load transient response, high PSRR (45 dB at 100 kHz), and ±0.85% (max at 25°C) / ±1.5% (max) output accuracy over the full operating temperature range. The PG output monitors the feedback pin voltage to indicate output voltage status, and the EN input and PG output can be used to sequence multiple power supplies in a system. The device remains stable with 1-µF or larger cera

Description:

The TPS745-Q1 is a 500-mA ultra-low-dropout regulator (LDO) with a power-good indicator. The device is available in a small 6-pin 2-mm × 2-mm WSON package with wettable flanks and a small 8-pin 3-mm × 3-mm VSON package for optical inspection. The TPS745-Q1 features low quiescent current consumption and provides fast line and load transient performance. The TPS745-Q1 supports an input voltage range of 1.5 V to 6.0 V and an externally adjustable output voltage range of 0.55 V to 5.5 V, making it a flexible post-regulation device. The device also offers fixed output voltages to supply common voltage rails. The TPS745-Q1 has a power-good (PG) output that monitors the feedback pin voltage to indicate the output voltage status. The EN input and PG output can be used to sequence multiple power supplies in a system. The TPS745-Q1 remains stable when paired with small ceramic output capacitors that support a small overall solution size. The precision bandgap and error amplifier feature high accuracy, providing ±0.85% (max) accuracy at 25°C and ±1.5% (max) accuracy over the full operating temperature range. The device includes integrated thermal shutdown, current limiting, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO) functions. The TPS745-Q1 features an internal foldback current limit that helps reduce thermal dissipation during short-circuit events.
