The CS5095E is a step‑up (boost) charging management IC designed for three‑cell Li‑ion batteries in series, supporting a 5V input and a maximum charging current of 1.2A. It integrates power MOSFETs and adopts an asynchronous switching architecture, requiring only minimal external components, which effectively reduces overall solution size and BOM cost. The boost switching charger operates at a fixed frequency of 500 kHz with a conversion efficiency of up to 90%. With a 5V input, the CS5095E features a built‑in adaptive input current limit loop that intelligently adjusts the charging current to prevent overloading the adapter output, ensuring compatibility with all types of adapters. The CS5095E is available in a compact ESOP‑8L package and operates over a temperature range of ‑40°C to +85°C.
