Overview:
The LM76005-Q1 regulator is an easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converter capable of driving up to 5A (LM76005-Q1) of load current with an input voltage up to 60V. With a tolerance up to 65V, it helps facilitate input inrush current protection. The LM76005-Q1 employs peak current mode control to deliver excellent efficiency and output accuracy with a very small solution size. Seamless transition between PWM and PFM modes, combined with ultra-low MOSFET on-resistance and an external bias input, ensures exceptional efficiency across the entire load range. The device requires very few external components, and its pins are designed to simplify PCB layout, providing excellent EMI (CISPR25) and thermal performance. The small solution size and feature set of the LM76005-Q1 are designed to simplify implementation across a wide variety of end equipment. The LM76005-Q1 is available in a 30-pin WQFN package with wettable flanks.
